1.  NRN Identity Card

A.         The following documents should be submitted to the Embassy to get NRN cards by a Foreign Resident of Nepali Nationality:

1.   Copy of Nepalese Citizenship Certificate;

2.   Copy of Nepalese passport;

3.   Commercial registration papers if he/she involves in any kind of business in Qatar;

4.   Documents related to his/her profession or employment if he/she is involved in it;

5.   If the applicant is working in any international organizations, his/her appointment letter and other documents justifying that he is working there till now;

6.   Passport-size photographs - two copies;

B.         The following documents should be submitted to the Embassy to get NRN     card by a Foreign National of Nepali Origin  to apply for the NRN card;

1.   Foreign citizenship certificate or similar document;

2.   If he/she has given up citizenship of Nepal, a document justifying his/her termination of the Nepalese citizenship;

 3. Document that details citizenship certificate number and district of his/her father/mother/grand-father/grand-mother or a document justifying that he/she was/is Nepalese citizen;

4. If he/she has run any business or is involved in any profession abroad, the documents justifying to this effect;

5.   If he/she is working in any country, the document justifying the same;

6.   Fresh passport-size photographs- two copies;

NRN Card Fee

1. NRN ID Card (Foreign Resident of Nepali Nationality)              QR 190.00

2. NRN ID Card (Foreign National of Nepali Origin                       QR 920.00

2. Attestation/Certification/Translation

Official documents issued by the concerned authorities of the Government of Nepal should be authenticated first by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then only from the Embassy of Nepal. The fee for attestation of the documents is as under:

Note: If documents are written in other languages except English, translation copy of the original documents should be produced.

3. Death Case of a Nepalese Citizen in Qatar

Procedure to follow in death case  

In case of death of a Nepali employee in Qatar, the sponsor is advised to observe/take immediately the following steps.

(I)

1. Inform the death of the employee to the next of kin in Nepal and also to the Embassy of        Nepal in Doha   
2. Inform the family of the deceased and this Embassy well in advance regarding the dispatch of the dead body.
3. Send the belongings of the deceased along with the dead body or separately.           
4. Send the deceased's all legitimate dues, insurance money, left money and valuables (converting them into cash to the extent possible), if any, to the next of the kin in Nepal or to this Embassy for transferring the same to the legal heirs of the deceased in Nepal.

(II)

A no-objection letter to book air cargo of the dead body will be issued from this Embassy upon official request of the sponsor provided that the following documents are obtained from the concerned government authorities and true copies of the documents with English translation which must be attached with the request letter.     

A.   Death Certificate                                          B.         Medical Report 
C.   Police Report (if applicable)                         D.         Embalmment Certificate

E.   No Objection Letter of CEID

(III)

The passport of the deceased with Immigration stamp and all the above mentioned original documents along with English translation should be sent with the dead body.
