Mr. Ramkaji Khadka - First Secretary
Deputy Chief of Mission/First Secretary (Consular, Economy, Education and Culture, Labour, Protocol)
[March 2007 to till date] - Mr. Ram Kaji Khadka was born in Haunchur-04, Khotang in 1973. He completed his schooling in Khotang and passed his M.A. in English from Mahendra Morang Adarsha Multiple Campus, Biratnagar, Morang. He has also completed his Masters Degree in Public Administration from Tribhuvan University of Nepal. Mr. Khadka joined the Civil Service in 2002 from the Ministry of Finance. After serving for two years in the Ministry of Finance, he entered the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works in 2002. In the process of gaining achievement in his career, Mr. Khadka joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a foreign service officer in February 2004. He was assigned to the Embassy of Nepal in Doha in March 2007 as the Second Secretary/ Deputy Chief of Mission. He also worked as the Charges' d' Affaires a. i. at the Embassy until November 2007. Mr. Khadka has now been promoted to the level of First Secretary. Mr. Khadka handles the protocol, consular, labour, economic, administration and overall coordination of the Embassy activities. Mr. Khadka attended the training course held by Nepal Academy of Administrative Staff College. He also participated in the security training course organized by Nepal police training academy. He participated in the training programme under the scholarship scheme provided by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) of Malaysia in 2005. He attended the orientation programme organized by the Institute of Foreign Affairs, Kathmandu prior to the departure for foreign assignment. Before joining the civil service, Mr. Khadka had been serving as a teacher in his birthplace in Khotang. |
